A meeting has been set by the City regarding Russian Jack Springs Park. Please plan to take the time to attend the meeting on Monday, December 1 - 6:30 p.m. at Begich Middle School.
Over the summer the Parks and Recreation Department developed four golf course alternatives and two driveway/access alternatives. These alternatives can be viewed here (2 MB file). They include "do nothing" alternatives as well as the full development alternatives similar to their original configuration.
Please consider attending the following two public meetings to make your position on Russian Jack Springs Park.

Meeting agenda
The agenda indicates that attendees will get to "vote" for their preferred alternative; it doesn't say how that "vote" will be used.
Public Testimony - Dec 11, 2008
Anchorage Parks and Recreation Commission Hearing
Thursday 6:00 pm, Spenard Recreation Center 2020 W. 48th Avenue
The parks commissioners will be considering testimony and recommending a preferred alternative to the Urban Design Commission for design review.
