Has anyone played courses in Oregon? I'm heading down there and I plan do a lot of discin. I have the PDGA course book but I know new courses are popping up all the time and I would like to have some good advice on which ones are good. It's hard to tell what they are going to be like just off the guide book discriptions.

Robbie, I'd mail Jeffrey Baker down there if I were you. I'm sure he's probably played just about every course there is and he can be pretty straightforward with ya. When you e-mail him, would you mind getting some info from him (address, etc) for the membership list. He's an honorary member and i want to get him a disc. Maybe I can give it to you to give to him, huh? let me know. If you need his e-mail this is it:

I tried that email but haven't heard anything. Does anyone have his number by chance?
I'm sure I'll run into him one way or another and it would be no problem for me to take a disc down to him. |

I played at Lake County Disc Golf Park today and it was really nice. It's 10 minutes from SeaTac Airport and I totally recomment it. I played with Washington's top player and this lady named Tuff that could very well be as good as the best women players. Her and I shot six under in a little doubles tournament and got second.
I hooked up with some hardcore disc golfers here that are letting me crash with them and we are doing a tournament tomorrow at two other courses, Tacoma South and Riverside. Then I'm heading to Portland to try and find jeffrey. haven't been able to locate him as of yet. I played in Bend Oregon. It's a super hard course to birdie on due to all the tree's, but lots of fun. A little dusty though. |
