They have two 18 basket courses and are 8 baskets into a third all right next to each other. One is mostly open and the other has some tight tree sections. Each basket has three tees much like we do at Kincaid except they call them rec, am and pro tees. I can't find any where to buy discs so I'm pretty worried when I lose one. I over threw and downhill drive and it went into the lake so I went in and recovered it. The weather here is still in the 90's and I need a towel not for my discs but for myself. www.geocities.com/hanover_dg/ The website hasn't been updated with all the holes but there are pictures of 27 of them. I got my first Pennsylvania ace on hole 12 my first round ever here! That makes 14 overall in my bag...

I've played in 4 tourneys since I left you guys. Played with Steve O in Bainbridge, OH played at Fossil Hill in Tennessee, played at Golden Hills in Blacksburg (sweet course!!) and of course my 'home course' in Hickory, NC just 15 minutes away. I will be playing a B tier in Burlington first weekend of October, an A tier in Charlotte the next weekend, and then that following week in Nationals in Rock Hill, SC. Needless to say, lots and lots of golf. My game has improved quite a bit down here though you wouldn't know it by my standings since the competition is so tough. Here's one way to look at it... a guy I played with just two weeks ago at the Hickory Classic is Eddie Ogburn. He was playing Intermediate a year ago. This year he went Advanced and finished 4th at worlds. Crazy!

It's amazing what we consider long holes aren't really that long compared to what I've seen. I play the Am tees and half the baskets I can't reach in one throw. If I played the pro tees I could probably birdie just a few holes. With the tree holes you better not hit a tree right off the tee or bogie is looking real good. Add the heat into the mix, sweaty palms and thorn bushes, Kincaid starts to seem pretty tame.
