There will be a PDGA D-tier event held at the Moose Pretzel in Homer on Sunday November 11th. We are currently finalizing the details of the tournament. I will post more information soon.

The Homer Fall Classic will be held at the Moose Pretzel Disc Golf Course in Homer on Sunday November 11th.
This will be sanctioned as a PDGA "D" tier event. The tournament will be two rounds of 18 for a total of 36 holes. There will be a one hour break for lunch between rounds. Registration will begin at 9:00AM. Players Meeting will be at 9:45am and we will begin play shortly after 10:00AM. Don't be late! The cost will be: $20 OPEN $15 ADVANCED, INTERMEDIATE, MASTERS, WOMEN $10 RECREATIONAL All PDGA rules will be in effect. Because this will be a "D" tier event, there will not be an additional $5 temporary one-day membership fee if you are not already a current PDGA member. |

A Little Frosting on the Pretzel | ||

As of Thursday morning, there is two inches of snow on the ground at the Moose Pretzel. It is wet slushy snow and could melt by this weekend. Never the less, those traveling up to the Pretzel should bring proper footwear and be prepared for snow. The snow should not affect the tourney too much and we are all looking foreward to a great event. Saturday afternoon we will be clearing tee boxes, setting up OB markers, and throwing a warm-up round. See you all on Sunday at 9am.

As of Friday morning there is six inches of snow at the Pretzel!! It dumped all night long. Better bring some gators or snow boots it might be a little deep out there.

Thanks to all the folks for flying, driving, and braving the snow. It was a great tourney. Also, congradulations to Jud winner of the Advanced division, Kurtis winner of the Intermediate division, and Jamie winner of the Women's division. The official results will be posted soon. After we send them in to the PDGA.

Once again, big thanks to Edan and the entire Moose Pretzel crew for a great tournament. The Fall Classic went off as the Pretzel's first ever PDGA sanctioned event!!! We coudln't have asked for better weather (although we could have asked for more sunlight!).
