Way to step up, Greg! I encourage everyone to come out to Schroeder for some fun 'short course' play! Not afraid of a few trees, are ya? Bring gloves and long sleeves so you can help get the Peter's Creek course up and going afterwards! Let's make good use of the long days of June and July!

What is the plan for the next week - Monday is July 4th!

Several of us played a trial run of the course once the 18th basket was installed yesterday (we had to do a Quality Assurance review!) The first four holes can get a bit discouraging what with all the trees and all, but it then opens up and it plays great (hole #7 (the cliff shot) is a lot of fun). Greg, I can't be there tonight, as I am giving a presentation to Parks & Rec about the status of the course. Have a great time, and keep a look out for those yellow jackets. We were able to eliminate about a dozen nests yesterday, and we should be looking pretty good along the course layout for now, but they may reestablish nests, so keep an eye out and wear long pants! I got the nest that got your sunglasses, plus we (Tim Cross) found a football-sized nest just past hole 9. He took a couple of hits for the team, but we nailed it and he was able to putt out for the birdie!

Also, my first shot off the first tee is still missing - if you could look for my orange Beast, I'd appreciate it. It went past the big white birch in the middle of the fairway, then I think it hit a tree and bounced toward the road, but not sure.
