New Alcantra Holes Baskets

How can we get some baskets to put out there for the new 9 holes? The new holes are looking very challenging and the sooner we can get baskets out there the better.

Hey, I see on the site here that Alcantra is scheduled to have a back 9, but that was like back in 2006, and it plays 9 now.
Was just wondering what the snag is. I love the current course and my brother and I would be willing to put in time to develope the back 9 just wanted to know what is needed or if this is a dead issue. Now i am sort of new to ADGA, but i believe we need another 18 hole course around anchorage. I know there is talk of putting in a back nine in Russian jack but i believe we can do both if we worry! I've been playing for about two years and I believe I have found a great place for a new course, Upper Huffman. The Russian Jack Project was handed to a new planner at Parks and Rec. His name is Brad Dunker and he was involved in the new course at Kincaid so he know a little bit about disc golf. We will be working with him on the design proposals for the Russian Jack Back 9. He is also working with the First Tee proposal to upgrade the ball golf course at Russian Jack. Hanshew Middle School

Construction for the new Hanshew course will be June 3rd. Come on out and lend a hand we will be getting started at 9AM with plans of a barbeque following. Hanshew Middle School is located on Lake Otis between Abbott and O'Malley. See you there!

I was disappointed with the results at Peter's Creek and have been reluctant to bring the topic up since so many fine people put alot of sweat and sacrifice into the effort. The project seemed rushed with little or no planning involved. I probably would have let it go except for the stunt Chuck D. pulled this saturday at Kincaid. Gruening Middle School Course

Steve Wrenn just passed on some info that the baskets are in for the Gruening course. They are the same as the baskets at Shroeder so some welding is required. Other than that, it looks like it will just be manpower needed to set up tees, dig holes and mix concrete. way to go Steve!

Installation begins when Mother Nature says so. If ya' know what I mean.
